Description: This single 1-hour class provides an introduction to the basic concepts required for the art of debating. Armed with these foundational skills, the new debater will be well prepared to confidently join a class and begin debating.

Price: $125 ($94 for Westfield students)

Description: Students who study Debate at Westfield Academy gain the skills and confidence to be successful in competitions, the classroom and beyond. For those who want to accelerate their path to success, Westfield provides private tutoring.

Laser-focused on your personal skill development and targeted to your individual goals, expert tutors will mentor and guide you as you develop your Debate superpowers.

Our uniquely qualified tutors have impressive records of competitive success and are devoted to the Westfield philosophy that true success requires growth in critical thinking and self-advocacy skills, and that the best public speakers know how to use their voices respectfully to powerful and persuasive effect.

Tutoring sessions are 1 hour long and may be purchased in groups of 1-10 sessions. If sessions are purchased in a group of 5 or more, the 5th and (if applicable) 10th sessions will be discounted to half the normal hourly rate. An additional 10% discount on any number of sessions is also available for currently registered Westfield students. (Please email us to get the coupon code before completing your registration.)

*Only available when 2-3 students register together for tutoring.

Very similar to Private Debate, with the exception that the tutor will work with 2-3 students as a group.

Semi-Private tutoring sessions are also 1 hour long and may be purchased in groups of 1-10 sessions. If sessions are purchased in a group of 5 or more, the 5th and (if applicable) 10th sessions will be discounted to half the normal hourly rate.
